AJA has just released it's version 6 software for the Kona cards. The update is mostly RED oriented. Iy ads Red specific Easy setup and output resolutions. The drivers are now 64 bits, the LUT are available when working in dual-link HD-SDI and performances have been improved. Here is the update: http://www.aja.com/html/support_swd.html

ADAPT Conference 2008

During 3 days top 2D, 3D, SFX, games, movies gurus come in Montreal to give cenferences and show their latest work. updated personal website

Hi guys, just a quick update. My personal website (www.ilovehue.net) is now up-to-date. I have uploaded a lot of clip I worked on in the past years. Nothing new for the one who went on the old website but still, it's going in the right direction. Most of the 2D is done in MOTION. The low-fi 3D is done with Zaxwerk softwares and the editing work is done in Final Cut. My resume will get updated soon. Shamelessly propoting himself, Mathieu Marano

RED: try it and share it.

Hi guys. By now, if you pretend to work in video or film production, you should have heard of the RED ONE camera. In a nutshell, it's a video camera that shoots 4K RAW (like in photo RAW), up to 120 fps, is 35mm lenses compatible, tapeless and upgradable...for less than 16000$. So it is likely that someone will come to you in a near future with RED footage on a hard drive to edit a videoclip or a short. You got to get ready for it.
